Eddie Douglas Moody, 60, of Greenbrier lost his battle with cancer Oct. 30, 2011. He was born July 12, 1951 in Fort Smith to Eddie H. Moody and Betty L. Rye Moody. Mr. Moody served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Greenbrier Church of Christ. He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Gary D. Moody.Survivors include his wife Judy Moody of Greenbrier; and mother, Betty Moody of Fort Smith. His surviving children and their spouses include Clint and Kathey Moody, Shanna and Kevin Lovell, Keri and Ricky Shannon, Cody Moody and Travis Moody, all of Greenbrier. Other survivors include siblings and their spouses Deborah and Larry Byerly of Van Buren, Bob and Linda Moody, Michael and Beverly Moody, all of Fort Smith. Surviving grandchildren include McKenzie, Ethan, and Isabella Shannon, Nathan and Ryeland Lovell. He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greenbrier Church of Christ with Brother Glen Elliott officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Greenbrier Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Bradford Cemetery in Shirley.Pallbearers will be Gary Bradley, Rodney Eoff, Rod Wilson, Clint Moody, Cody Moody and Travis Moody. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Doug's honor to the following organization of your choice, Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, Colorado or UAMS Family Home in Little Rock.Arrangements by Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home of Greenbrier. -
