Husband of Rose Marie Tolbert
Son of Oscar and Frances Bush Tolbert
Murl Ford Tolbert, 93, died June 17, 2006. He was the son of the late Oscar and Frances Bush Tolbert. He was a graduate of Tyler Commercial College. He was a bookkeeper for an oil drilling company in Oklahoma City, and was co-owner and operator of Tolbert Hatchery for ten years. He worked in the Subiaco Abbey Print Shop, where he learned to operate Linotype, and later worked for the Paris Express, from which he retired after 33 years at the age of 70. He attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Tolbert; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Frances and George Zeiler, and Anna Kathryn Tolbert; a son, Leo David Tolbert and wife Royce; a sister, Cleta Koch; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, and two sisters. Services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Luke officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph�s Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
