ODEN, Bertha LANDERS - Mrs. Bertha Landers Oden, 41, of Rogers, died January 22d following an emergency operation. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Baptist Church, Rev. D.S. Brinkley officiating. Surviving Mrs. Oden, who was a native of Rogers, are her husband, her son, Glen Oden, two sisters and three brothers, including John Landers of Rogers.

Mr. and Mrs. Newt Landers of Seminole, Okla. arrived in Rogers Saturday, having been called here by the death of Mr. Landers' sister, Mrs. Walter Oden.

Mrs. Bertha Landers Oden, 41, died at a local hospital at 10 o'clock Friday night following an illness of some time. Mrs. Oden underwent an operation Thursday from which she failed to rally. Mrs. Oden was born and reared in Rogers and spent practically her entire life here. Surviving are her husband, Walter Oden; one son, Glen Oden; two sisters, Mrs. Homer Thayer, Joplin, Mo. and Mrs. Lester Sempten, Tekoa, Wash.; and three brothers, Bark Landers, Tekoa, Wash., Newt Landers, Seminole, Okla. and John Landers, Rogers. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First Baptist church. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery.
