Arthur Wayne Keeton, age 82, of Harrison, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born June 13, 1927, in Farmington, Arkansas, the son of Arthur and Bertha (Reavis) Keeton. Mr. Keeton was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arvin Keeton.

Wayne was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Harrison. He was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran. He retired from McKesson in Harrison where he was a receiving dock manager. Wayne loved to travel in his RV and enjoyed his garden and his yard.

Arthur Wayne Keeton is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Viola Keeton, of the home; his sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Paul Scroggins,
of Compton, Arkansas; and his special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bo and Betty Turner, of Beebe, Arkansas.

Wayne is also survived by his nieces and their husbands, Debra and Gary Villines and Paulette and Jeff Jech, all of Harrison; his three great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of dear friends throughout the community.

Visitation is 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, Ajpril 19, 2010, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral service is 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Hunter-Hill Cemetery, Clinton, Arkansas, with Rev. O. D. Turner officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
