Frederick G (Fritz) Zimmer 95 of Paris, Arkansas died Thursday, August 27, 2009 in Paris, Arkansas. He was born September 24, 1913 in Paris, Arkansas to Charles and Bertha (Wald) Zimmer. He was a retired baker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and an Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He leaves behind his wife of 71 years Oleda Mae (Bates) Zimmer, two sons; Rick Zimmer of Mulvane, Kansas and Randy Zimmer of Paris, Arkansas, two daughters; Carolyn Beck of Boulder City, Nevada and Marolyn Hardin of Dardanelle, Arkansas, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ron Hardin and Chris Ridenhour, Chris Zimmer & Lester Rose.
Honorary Pallbearer is Catholic War Veterans.

Oleda Mae Zimmer, 91 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011 in Paris. She was born on April 25, 1920 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to her parents Amon O. and Ethel Daisy (Hays) Bates. Oleda was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.
Oleda is preceded in death by her parents Amon and Ethel Bates, her husband Frederick Zimmer, one son Freddy Zimmer, three sisters and four brothers.
Oleda is survived by two daughters Carolyn Beck of Boulder City, Nevada and Marolyn Hardin of Dardanelle, Arkansas, two sons Rick Zimmer of Mulvane, Kansas and Randy Zimmer of Paris, one sister Doris June Layes Blankenship of Rover, Arkansas, one brother Allen Dennis Bates, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ron Hardin, Ted Crowell, Charles Zimmer, Harold Zimmer, Lester Rose and John Caskey.
