Billy Fred Tomlinson of Clinton, Arkansas passed away on November 19, 2007. Born January 14-1923 at Choctaw, Arkansas. He was preceded by his parents James Tommy & Lillian Huie Tomlinson, grandson of Jesse & Celine Treadway and Madison & Belle Liddell Tomlinson, son James Toney "Jimmy" Tomlinson, in 1984, a half brother Roy Stobaugh.

Bill retired after 25 years in the United States Air Force, having served in Europe during World War Two, Japan, Korea and Viet Nam. He flew 52 missions in the ETO, received the Purple Heat, The Presidential Citation, the Air Medal with two bronze service stars with one silver oak leaf cluster and four bronze oak leaf clusters. Was also a member of the Caterpillar Club, He attended Choctaw
& Clinton School, Draughon Business College, Mason, Shriner, Lifetime Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled Veterans, lifetime member of 391st, Bomb Group, and a Member of First United Methodist Church of Clinton.

Bill is survived by his wife of 62yrs Jewell Lewis Tomlinson, a son Billy Lewis Tomlinson, Little Rock, daughter, Judy Tallman of Pea Ridge, Brothers, Louie of Morrilton, Don of Batesville, sister Martha Folsom, Hot Springs. Granddaughters, Chris Tomlinson of Buffalo, NY, Cari Tomlinson, Cleveland, Ohio, Gina Tomlinson, Marietta, Georgia, Toni Tallman Pea Ridge, AR., great grandchildren, Oliva Jewel Ruiz, Gordon Michael & Garin Lewis Schnick.

Services Saturday November 24, 2007 at 2pm in Roller McNutt Chapel. At Bill's request Cremation will follow with burial of Cremains at Hunter Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist of Friends of Special People.
