Jessie Lee Pruss, 83, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was of the Christian faith, and was a prayer warrior. She loved to sing and spread the gospel to all those who would listen.

She is survived by three sons, Greg (Karen) Pruss, Timothy Pruss, and Stanley (Beth) Pruss, all of North Little Rock, one daughter, Martha (Rickie) Phillips of Mayflower; eight grandchildren, Amy Harms, Mathew Pruss, Jessica Stewart, Tanner Pruss, Trent Pruss, Kylie Gilliland, Tiffany Pruss and Damon McMann; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Johnnie Golden of Sherwood, and Fern Floyd of Clinton. Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Albert Philip Pruss and three brothers, Bill Bates, Paul Bates and Joe Bates.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 14510 Cedar Heights Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Heights Baptist Church. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Hunter Hill Cemetery, Clinton, Arkansas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral home.
