GENTRY — Ben F. Jenks, 99, of Gentry died Dec. 18, 2002, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born June 1, 1903, in Gentry to James Edward and Margaret B. Breeding Jenks. He was a retired dairy farmer and was a lifetime resident of Gentry. He was a member of Colcord (Okla.) Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Morris Jenks, and one grandson.
Survivors include three sons, Clinton Jenks and wife Sue of Colcord, Richard Jenks and wife Darla of Lorimar, Iowa, and Frank Jenks and wife Norma of Colcord; one daughter, Naomi Owen and husband Bob of Siloam Springs; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Larry Ells officiating.
Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m Sunday at the funeral home.

Ruby Mae Jenks, 86, of Gentry, died Monday, March 29, 1993, at Rogers Nursing Center, Rogers. She was born May 20, 1906, in Green Forest, the daughter of Henry McMorris and Eva Wells McMorris.
She was a housewife and lived in Gentry and the Colcord, Okla. area most of her life. She was a member of AARP and was affiliated with the Church of Christ Church, Colcord.
Survivors include her husband Ben Jenks of the home; three sons, Clinton and Richard Jenks, both of Colcord and Frank Jenks, of Tulsa; one daughter, Naomi Owen of Siloam Springs; one sister, Veta Chancellor of Gentry; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial will follow in Gentry Cemetery, with Larry Ellis officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
