Mr. Theron Watts, 75, of Conway, AR departed this life Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Russellville, AR. He was born on February 14, 1936 in McCaskill, AR to the late Callie Lee Wesson Watts and Lonnie L. Watts, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Callie Lee Wesson Watts; father, Lonnie Watts, Sr.; sister, Clovus Watts; and a brother, Garleon Watts.
Mr. Watts retired from General Motors in Michigan after 40 years of service. He loved to read his bible, watch baseball, basketball and boxing. He enjoyed listening to music by the Staple Singers, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Lee Hooker.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Elviria Watts; son, Tony A. Watts; daughter, Angel M. Watts; two sisters, Lucille Troop of Los Angeles, CA, Zeola Howard (James) of Graham, NC; four brothers, Houston Watts (Peggy) of Chicago, IL, Clovis Watts (Ruth) of Grand Blanc, MI, Emanuel Watts (Debra) of Chicago, IL, and Lonnie Watts, Jr. (Emma) of Fort Smith, AR; two grandchildren, many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.; and a host of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, February 13, 2012 at Union Baptist Church, 1257 Lincoln Street, Conway, AR. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Monday prior to service time. Interment will be Robinson Cemetery in Conway, Ar. Arrangements entrusted to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway.
