SPRINGDALE-- William L. "Bill" Griffin, 82, of Springdale died March 23, 2008, at Springdale. He was born Jan. 28, 1926, in Diaz, to James Edward and Julia Brown Griffin. He was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and was in real estate. He served in the Navy and Coast Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie F. "Klemsky" Griffin of the home, to whom he was married Oct. 6, 1945; one son, Gary Griffin and wife Jan of Springdale; one daughter, Sheila Galbraith and husband Gregory of Carthage, Mo.; one grandson, Drew Griffin of Springdale.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. Arrangements are by Westfield Chapel in Springdale, www.westfieldchapel.com.
