Michael Wayne Fant, 47, of Decatur died Nov. 4, 2005, at his home. Born Oct. 25, 1958, in Benton, be was the son of Jack L. and Myrtle Louise House Fant.
He was a master craftsman with his own cabinet shop. His recreational pursuits were certified scuba diver PADI, Bassmasters Association, Amateur Drag Racing Association and a musician. A tribute to his life is his many, many friends who loved him dearly, as did his family. He will be missed by all.
Survivors include his parents, Jack and Louise Fant of Springdale; two daughters, Alyssa and Felicia Fant of Lowell; one brother, Tony Fant of North Caldwell, N.J.; two sisters, Melissa Myers of Harrison and Michelle Richman of Centerton; six nephews; four nieces; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Bill Driggers officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 8 at the funeral home. The family will be present from 6 to 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tony Fant, Brian Richman, Steve Femandes, Scott Taylor, Brandon Myers and Phillip Bruce.
