DENISON, Texas — Virgie May Field, 95, of Denison died July 21, 2004, at House of Ruth in Denison. She was born May 10, 1909, in Kirgston to Jacob A. and Clara Jane Bowen Clayton. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Reeves. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence A. Reeves of Sadler, Texas, Charles L. Reeves of Springiale and Wesley C. Reeves of Fort Smith; one brother, Lee Cayton of Jerome, Idaho; one sister, Julia McIntyre of Springdale; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Huff Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas.
