SPRINGDALE — Charline T. Fiss, 86, of Springdale died April 21, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Nov. 2, 1913, in El Paso to William Alvie and Margaret Lee Taylor. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Andy Venable Sr., in 1943, and Charles Earle Fiss Sr., in 1969.
Survivors include one son, Charlie Fiss of Irving, Texas; one daughter, JoAnn Campbell of Champaign, Ill.; one brother, William Taylor of California; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Kermit Mullen officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Fisher, Bob Holt, Bill Rogers, Rick Schaeffer, Kevin Trainor, Nate Allen, Bob Stephens, University of Arkansas Athletic Department and Cotton Bowl Athletic Association.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
