SPRINGDALE — Betty Jean Fredrick, 78, of Springdale died Oct. 25, 2002. She was born Dec. 20, 1923, in Marionville, Mo., to David Nelson and Luella Hill McCoy. She was a beautician for several years as a young woman and later was a homemaker.
She served as president of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and was a member of Caudle Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband, Curtis "Pete" Fredrick, died in 1996.
Survivors include one son, Butch Fredrick and wife Linda of Springdale; two daughters, Sandra Perry and husband Tom and Vanessa Stevens and husband Larry, all of Springdale; one sister, Etta Porter of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bluff Cemetery with Bob Perry officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sisco Chapel in Springdale.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Fredrick. Gary Fredrick, Justin Stevens, Pete Stevens, Missy McCutcheon and Debbie Clark.
