SPRINGDALE — Mildred P. Fredrick, 80, of Springdale died March 15, 2000, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Nov. 2, 1910, in Violin, S.D. to Ike and Heddy Sailor Jones. She was a checker for Harps Food Stores for 30 years and was former owner and operator of Mil-Frans Arts and Crafts. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Springdale and enjoyed art and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Fredrick, in 1969.

Survivors include two sons, Jay B. Fredrick of Springdate and Bill Fredrick of Amarillo, Texas; one daughter, Pat Rush of Fayetteville; five brothers, Harvey Jones of Tulsa, Oklal., Kenneth Jones of Catoosa, Okla., Jimmy Jones of Durant, Okla., Norman Jones of Tulsa and Richard Jones of Hot Springs; two sisters, Margret Perona of Springdale and Frances Smith of Tulsa; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be at ]0:30 a.m. Friday at Bluff Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel of Springdale.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Jones Foundation or to First Baptist Church, 1709 Johnson Road, Springdale, 72762.
