VORE, H.C. - Capt. H.C. Vore died on Tuesday morning at his home on Second street, second door south of Capt. Thomas. His death was caused by hemorrhage of the brain. He had been unconscious since Sunday morning. The funeral was held from the residence this afternoon at two o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Bailey. The Masons and G.A.R. Post assisted. Capt. Vore and wife came to Rogers last June. Mrs. Vore is a sister of Mrs. R.C. Copp of this city. Capt. Vore had suffered from a stroke of paralysis for several years and was a helpless invalid when he came here. His death had been expected for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Vore have one son, Fred Vore of What Cheer, Iowa.
