GENTRY — Bertha Audrey Ransom, 91, of Gentry died May 9, 2002, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born July 7, 1910, in Texhoma, Okla., to Ruben and Grace Dubbs Boles. She was employed by Twiggs IGA in Gentry for 35 years and lived most of her life in the Cherokee City community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gentry. Her husband, Will 'Dock' W.K. Ranson, died in 1994.
Survivors include one son, Howard Ransom of Riverton, Kan.; four grandchildren, Debra Wilkens, Michael Ransom, Randy Ransom and Cindy Godin, all of Gentry; eight great-grandchlldren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Bill Melton officiating.
Burial will be in Gentry Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
