HOGEYE — Norman T. "Cooler" Findahl Jr., 80, a resident of Hogeye community near West Fork died May 17, 2008, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Nov. 16, 1927, at Waterville, Minn., to Norman T. and Laura Glotfelter Findahl.
He graduated from Shattuck Military Academy and attended the University of Minnesota. He was the owner of American Milling Co. for 20 years and was a lifelong farmer and rancher.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Nadine Findahl; two sons, Norman T. Findahl III and his wife, Anna, and Mark Findahl, all of Hogeye; one daughter, LeAnn McKee her husband, Dewain, of Fayetteville; one brother, Roger Findahl of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Georgianna Seay of Tulsa; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral in Prairie Grove, www.luginbuel.com.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Larry Little officiating.
Burial will be at the Billingsly Cemetery near the family farm.
Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
Pallbearers will be Billy Don Cates, Steve Lamm, Roy Reed, Coy McKee, Adam Findahl and Travis McKee.
