Ama Sue Womack of Mulberry departed this life on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, for her Heavenly home. Ama was born Oct. 27, 1933, at Dover.
She served as district manager of River Valley Advertising Supply for a number of years covering locations of central and northwest Arkansas, a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Womack; her parents, Wheatley and Lena Humphrey Smith; one infant son, Russell Eugene Smith; and one brother, Russell Lee Smith.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with Pastor Terry Pickrell officiating. Interment will be at Rankin Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, J.T. Mashburn Jr. and wife Loretta of Deer Park, Texas, David Terry Mashburn of Dardanelle and Jack Womack of Mulberry; two sisters, Beth Jones of Alma and Freda Diffee of Ozark; two grandsons, Wheatley and Michael Mashburn; one granddaughter, Amy Mashburn; and two great-grandchildren, Landen and Makayla Mashburn.
Pallbearers will be Wheatley and Michael Mashburn, Tony Thomas, Bruce Jones, Bob Dixon and Richard Gillham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Quaile, Marshall and Daniel Keeton.
