Mrs. Cora Olive Ermert was born September 20, 1893 in Clay County and died September 25, 1977 at Community Methodist Hospital, Paragould. A widow of Francis Marion Ermert, she was a member of the Church of Christ, a lifetime resident of Clay County, a resident at Corning Nursing Home for the past five years and was 84 years old.
Survivors are two sons, Carl L. Ermert and Richard O. Ermert, both of Corning; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Leathel) Wilson of Route One, Corning and Mrs. Frieda Keithley of Troy, Missouri; one half-sister, Mrs. John (Virgie) Jacobs of Corning; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, September 27, in the Russell-Ermert Chapel by Glenn Fann. Burial was in Richwoods Cemetery.
