Nola Sartin, 89, Fifty Six entered into rest on February, 26, 2008 in Mtn. View.
She was born Oct. 21, 1918 in Big Flat, Ark. to Dewey and Ivy (Southern) Rose. She was a member of Fifty Six Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by three sons: Lee Roy Sartin of Mtn. View and Carl and Junior Sartin. both of Fifty Six; two daughters: Mary Lou Mitchell of Gassville and Shirley Messick of Mtn. Home; eight sisters: Shirley Fletcher and Needy Bell Bullard both of Pleasant Hill, Bessie Vickers of Gassville; L. B. Cox of Rogers, May Vickers and Mary Ann Morrow both of Big Flat; Lenore Sutterfield of Russellville and Rene McDaniel of Mtn. Home; eleven grandchildren, Renae Moreland, Bobby Sartin, Becky Villiger, Sheila Weitvel, Gail Keller, Randy Sartin, Donna Ramer, Lisa Rhoades, Riki Jr. Sartin, Terry Lee Sartin and Sheena Chriee Sartin; twenty-one great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ivy (Southern) Rose; husband, Claud Sartin; three grandchildren: Dennis Sartin, Kendall Mitchell and Jeffrey Carl Sartin; one brother, Willie Rose; and two sisters, Lola Hafner and Gladys Stevens.
Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Friday, February 29, 2008 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View with Bro. Jim Wisehart officiating and interment in Fifty Six Cemetery, Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Bobby Sartin, Kelly Foley, Randy Sartin, Renae Moreland, Terry Sartin and Gail Keller. Honorary pallbearer is Riki Sartin.
