John Thomason, 83, of Colcord, Okla., died Saturday, Aug. 20, 1994, at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla. Born March 20, 1911, at Delaware County, Okla., the son of 0.E. Thomason and Belle Elam Thomason, he was a retired farmer and a lifetime resident of the Colcord and Carnes area.

Survivors are his wife, Dona Thomason of the home; three sons, Roy Lee Thomason of Tulsa, Okla.; J.O. Thomason of Colcord, Okla., and Clint Thomason of Elkhart, Kan.; two daughters, Martha Sue Donahue of Tulsa, Okla., and Deborah Pittman of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; a sister, Bessie Cox of Siloam Springs; 10 grandchildren; Six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Yell Cemetery, with the Rev. Danny R Crittenden officiating. Arrangements made under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Dona Elizabeth "Sister" Thomason, 82, of Colcord, Okla., died Saturday, April 29, 1995, in Siloam Springs.

Born July 23, 1912, in Robinson, she was the daughter of John Leach and Donna Collins Leach. She was a homemaker and a member of the Siloam Springs Bible Church. She was married to John Elam Thomason who died in August 1994.

Survivors are three sons, Roy Thomason of Tulsa, J.O. Thomason of Colcord, Okla., and Clint Thomason of Elkhart, Kan.; two daughters, Martha Sue Donahue of Tulsa and Deborah Pittman of Colcord, Okla.; a sister, Laura Moss of Visalia, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Marvin Eck officiating. Burial will follow in Yell Cemetery.
