Joyce Lee Keaton, 65, of Huntsville, formerly of Spring Valley, was called home on March 29, 2005.

He was born June 28, 1939, in Benton County, the son of J.B. Keaton and Magdalene Keeton Keaton.

J.L. served his country in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964.

He was a poultry farmer in the Spring Valley community the last 35 years and over the years had warn many hats.

He was a devoted husband, loving father and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Laurie Keaton and two infant brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Yordy Keaton of the home, to whom be was married April 12, 1959; one son, Randy Keaton and wife Lori of Goose Creek, S.C.; two grandchildren, Brandie Conyers and Donald Conyers; three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Briana and Jacob, all of Goose Creek; one brother, Glenn Keaton of Spring Valley, two sisters, Karen Russell of Springdale and Carotanne Spain of Spring Valley; many nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2 at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with Randall Galloway and James Rousseau officiating.

Burial will be in Yell Cemetery in Benton County.

Pallbearers will be Denzil Ramer, Randy Ramer, Rick Puryear, Kenneth Puryear, Lawrence Puryear and Hayden Scates.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to made to Air Evac of Northwest Arkansas.

J.L. was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
