Jan 28, 1955 – Mrs C. E. Byram Dies at Melbourne Tuesday
Mrs Charles E. Byram aged 75 of Melbourne died in the Izard County Memorial Hospital at that place, Tuesday afternoon. She was a life-long resident of Arkansas and the greater part of her life was spent in Izard County. She was a resident of Calico Rock for years, moving to Melbourne about 18 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs Jasper Stites of Pacific, Mo., and Mrs Charles Miller of Melbourne; one son, Ralph Byram of Melbourne; two brothers, Ernest Everett of Sulphur Rock and Marvin Everett of Booneville; one sister, Mrs Mittie Freeman of Tieton, Wash., and one grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Melbourne Methodist Church, with Rev. D. G. Hindman officiating. Burial was in Melbourne Cemetery. Pall bearers were: Dick Reeves, Hail Bibb, R. O. Tomlinson, R. L. Blair, Hubert Howard and J. C. Miller.
