Cuby Geneva Lantz of Mt. Home died Saturday (April 1, 200) at Care Manor. She was 84.
Mrs. Lantz was born Oct 1, 1915, to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Harrington at Big Flat. She was a retired nurse's aid for Baxter Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the East Oakland Baptist Church, volunteered many years for the Salvation Army and enjoyed quilting and gardening.
She is survived by two sons, Johnie Evert Lantz and his wife Janice of Norfork, Jerry Ray Lantz and his wife Marilyn of St. Charles, MO; one daughter, Neva Joyce Havner and her husband Larry of Mt. Home; two sisters, Ruby Franks and her husband Clyde of Mt. Home, Ruth Franks and her husband Orville of Flippin; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lantz was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Samuel and Elizabeth Minerva Harington; four brothers.
Services will be 10AM today at Lone Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Barnett officiating. Burial will be in the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery with Alan Lantz, Brad Lantz, Chris Lantz, Kurt Lantz, Clayton Havner and Mike Pace serving as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery Fund.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
Roller Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree as a living memorial to the memory of Mrs. Cuby Geneva Lantz.
