Oliver Cemetery is on Cemetery Road south of Mt. Vernon. From the intersection of state highways 64 and 5 at El Paso, go north on Highway 5 for 5.1 miles. Turn west (left) on John Fowlkes Road and travel approximately 1.5 miles to Cemetery Road, then turn right. Proceed to a T at the corner of Bristol Road. Oliver Cemetery is visible from this point. At the T Cemetery Road turns right and immediately makes a sharp left. The driveway entrance is through a chain link fence on the left. There are cattle pastured in the area and the gate must be closed immediately after coming and going. The cemetery is still in excellent condition.
