Married January 15, 1955 to William Gage
Velma J. Gage, 76, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker, and a member of River Fellowship Church in Alma.
She was born December 28, 1935 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Buel and Ruby Gray Cowan.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bill Gage of the home; two daughters, Pamela Tugg of Alma, AR and Paula Jeffers of Poteau, OK; one son, Larry Gage of Newnan, GA; two sisters, Wanda Louise Anderson of LA and Brenda Orr of Fort Smith, AR; one brother James Cowan of Midland, AR; 3 Grandchildren, Ashley Gage Paz, Jamie Sarten, and Emily Gage and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Gill Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Thursday evening, July 5th at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Pallbearers will be Paul Kaiser, Frank Wynn, Jamie Sarten, Troy Dale Emberton, Leon Tugg and Eric Paz
