Mrs. Ruby Ann Spankuch, age 45, of Fairfield Bay passed away, Sunday morning, August 28, 2011 with her husband Glenn by her side. She was born September 19, 1965 in Seaford, Delaware to Floyd and Anna Wyatt. She was one of six children. She was preceded in death by her father.
Ruby was the loving wife of Glenn Spankuch of Fairfield Bay. She was blessed with one daughter, Brittany Walker, who is attending Arkansas Tech in Russelville. She was a friend to everyone who will be remembered by many, many friends who considered her part of their family.
Ruby left Delaware at a young age and made her home in Louisiana for many years. Ruby had many occupations during her life and was a hard-working woman. While residing in Louisiana, she became a successful businesswoman and was co-owner of Trial Boss Steak House in Nachitoces. After moving to Arkansas, Ruby became Assistant Manager of the Dollar General store in Greers Ferry and then manager of the store in Fairfield Bay.
Although Ruby left the Northeast early in life and spent most of her life in the south, everyone who knew her, knew that she was a true fan of the New England Patriots! Ruby was also very talented and loved to spend her free time crocheting or spending time with her pets.
Visitation will be 6-8:00pm, August 31, 2011 at the Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills Church. Funeral services will be 10:00am, September 1, 2011 at the Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills Church with reverend Robert Hadley officiating. Interment will follow at Bradford Cemetery.
