Charley Tankersley 98, of Shirley, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was born February 16, 1915 in Shirley, Arkansas to the late Jesse and Minnie (Elliot) Tankersley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Luther, and Harley Tankersley, five sisters, Verna Nixon, Elizabeth Bloodworth, Thelma Plumlee, Jessie Holland, Gloria Eoff.
He is survived by his brother, Herman Tankersley, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers: Vance Severns, Anthony Severns, Jacob Severns, Lee Plumlee, Jeremy Plumlee, and Heath Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers: Chester Holland, and Raymond Plumlee.
