FORSYTH, Edward Lee - Ed Forsyth, son-in-law of W.H. Fowler, died on Tuesday evening at 5:30 o'clock at his home southwest of town of typhoid fever. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Christian church in this city at 3 o'clock and the remains were then laid to rest in the city cemetery. Edward Lee Forsyth was born in Sonoma county, California on May 13, 1872, being twenty-seven years, four months and thirteen days old at the time of his death. He was married on February 25, 1892 to Miss Myrtle Fowler of this city. He leaves two children, both girls. The deceased made his home in California for a number of years after his marriage, returning to Rogers a little over two years ago. He was quite popular among his friends and associates and his death yesterday was an unexpected blow to most of them, many of whom did not even know he had been seriously ill. The many friends of the deceased unite in expressing the heartfelt sympathy for the wife and little daughters, who have so early been deprived of a father's care and love.
