Bradley Duncan Norris, 19, of Vilonia, son of Kim and Glynn Fulmer of Vilonia and Carl and Sharon Norris of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Brad was born Oct. 4, 1988, in Little Rock. He was an honor graduate of Vilonia High School's Class of 2007, where he was a three-year letterman in both basketball and cross country and was on the tennis and soccer teams, receiving All-Conference honors in basketball and soccer. He was a sophomore at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was pledging Beta Upsilon Chi, a Christian fraternity.
Brad was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church and was a Vacation Bible School leader on mission trips, and a Cell Group Leader at Bogg Springs Baptist Youth Encampment. He had worked at Wild River Country in Little Rock.
He is also survived by his sister, Hannah Fulmer of Vilonia; brothers, David Norris and Michael Moses, both of Fort Smith; grandparents, Weldon and Betty Duncan of Mountain View, Alvis and Linda Norris of Judsonia and Glenda Fulmer of Alma; great-grandmother, Odell Duncan of Mountain View; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, John Fulmer of Alma.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Bowery Baptist Church. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at the church with Bros. Maury Gibson and Tim Nolan officiating. Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery, Mountain View, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
