RICKERD, Rachael Sarah Ann Patterson Clark - Rachael Sarah Ann Rickerd, familiarly known as "Aunt Ann," was born in Weakly county, Tenn. January 23, 1837 and died April 2, 1909 at the home of Culver Crowder. She was married three times, in July 1861 to Richard Patterson; June 3, 1867 to Don Clark and March 15, 1873 to John Rickerd. She came to Arkansas in 1861 and has resided in the state since until her death. She has lived for the last fourteen years at the home of Mr. Crowder. She was converted and joined the M.E. Church, South in 1869. She lived a consistent Christian life and died a beautiful death. She was known to many as one of the most beautiful Christian characters in the county. Everybody who knew her felt that she was a real benediction to the people with whom she associated. The funeral was conducted by the writer at the residence and we laid her body to rest in the Barron graveyard. H.A. Armstrong.
