Gerald Wayne McFadden, 69 of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St. Edwards hospital.
He was a retired self employed truck driver. He was of the Baptist Faith, a longtime resident of this area and having formerly lived in Altus.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Pete & Eunice Crooks McFadden.
He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Elizabeth of the home; one daughter, Leigh Ann Childers of Gans, OK; one son, Alan McFadden of Seminole, FL; two sisters, Phyllis Neidecker of Van Buren and Patsy Eveld of Paris, AR; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Ocker Chapel in Van Buren on Friday, February 5, 2010 with Bro. Harold McKeehen officiating.
Pallbearers were Alan McFadden, Wayne Childers, Brandon McFadden, Blake Mahar, Jacob McFadden and Mark Neidecker.
