Sarah Caroline (Adair) Watson Vinson wife of R N Vinson.
Sarah Caroline Adair Watson Vinson's tombstone has incorrect information. Her actual birthdate was May 11, 1837. Her tombstone also shows her incorrect middle initial as F, and does not have her death date. She was the daughter of William Adair and Mahala Womack.
She married her first husband, Sherod W. Watson, son of Peter Watson, on December 20, 1857 in Randolph County, AR. After his death in 1863, she married Robert Newton Vinson on March 20, 1864. Sarah's only children were by her first husband, and were Celia Ann Watson, b. September 19, 1858, and George William Sherad Watson, b. December 13, 1862, d. October 14, 1942. George's tombstone is a large one to the south of Sarah's.
Sarah's tombstone is shared with Mary Anderson, with whom there is no known connection, and is in the oldest part of the cemetery, under the largest trees.
