SPRINGDALE — Leo Aubrey Baker Jr., age 80, of Springdale died July 6, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville. He was born June 26, 1933, in Cedarville, Ark., the son of Leo Aubrey Baker, Sr., and Bertha Mae Cluck Baker. He was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ for 60 years and had retired from sales in the grocery industry. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, restoring old cars and spending time with his family.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jearline Stout Baker, of the home; four sons, Jim Baker and his wife, Lesha of Huntsville, David Baker of Springdale, Donnie Baker and his wife, Angela, of Jane, Mo., and Tim Baker and his wife, Denise of Jane, Mo.; one daughter, Linda Bowen of Springdale; five brothers, Carlos Baker, Al Baker, Johnny Baker, Bobby Baker and Billy Baker; three sisters, Betty Sisemore, Carol Atkins and Wanda Brown; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, with Brother Harry Fitzgerald officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
