Bland, Mary, 90, of Perryville, widow of William Calvin Bland, died at her home Tuesday, May 12, 1964. She was born at Little Rock, Jan 13, 1874, a daughter of the late John Carden and Elizabeth Kumpe Carden. She was a member of the First Baptist church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katie Murgrove and Mrs. Ruby Thedford, both of Perryville; a sister, Mrs. Ella West of Perryville; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:30 pm Thursday by Rev. L. B. Gustavus and Rev. Loy Garner. Burial was in Perryville Cemetery by Reid Harris Funeral Home.
William Calvin Bland

He was a son of John Bland, Jr., and Lucinda Catherine Rankin Bland and the husband of Mary Carden Bland.
