Rev. Jack Langston was an Assembly of God minister who served as pastor of numerous churches throughout Arkansas for 45 years.

William 'Jack' Langston was born October 16, 1930, at Wideman, Arkansas, to Walker and Garnett Hand Langston. He married Maxine Parnell on April 9, 1951, at Norfork, Arkansas. Rev. Langston was a First Assembly of God minster who pastored and built numerous churches throughout Arkansas for 45 years. His life was completely dedicated to the service of God and caring for his family, and hunting and fishing with his boys. He also enjoyed gardening and working with wood. He was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church.
Survivors; wife Maxine Langston of Mt. Home, Arkansas; three sons, Ron (Lila) Langston of Norfork, Arkansas, Eddie Langston of Nashville, Tennessee, Joey (Diane) Langston of Norfork, Arkansas; one daughter, Bonnie (David) Englehart of Mt. Home, Arkansas; one brother, Charles Langston of Lincoln, Nebraska; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Keri, Megan, Kassie, Mallory, Michele, Kortney, Jeannie, Elizabeth and Joseph; two step grandchildren, Kenny and Stacy; one great grandson, Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by; his parents, one sister and four brothers
Visitation; 2:00-5:00PM Sunday, July 9, at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral; 2:00PM Monday, July 10, 2006, at Galatia Assembly of God with Rev. Charles Sutterfield and Rev B.B. Buchannan officiating.
Burial; Galatia Cemetery
Memorials; Memorials may be made to Hospice House.
Honorary Bearers; Alton Bronderville, John Muir, Butch Robb, Jerry Mashburn, Charles Davis, Lee Clark and all of his fellow ministers.
Active Beares; Evertt, Jerry, Sylvester and Brad Panell, Charles Cark and Orthell Vincent.
