Vernice D Ledbetter Sr, 66, of Hunt died Monday, April 2, 2001, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of West Plains, Mo, son of the late James Allen and Ruby O Mayhan Ledbetter, a retired poultry farmer, and attended Liberty Hill Community Church.
Survivors include his widow, Ruth Ledbetter; one daughter, Roye Faye Palmer of Hunt; two sons, V Duwane Ledbetter, Jr and James Allen Ledbetter II, both of Hunt; three sisters, Ona Bushman of Coloraro; Lois Roman of West Plains, Mo, and Shirley Bolan of Sapulpa, Okla; two brothers, Floyd Ledbetter of West Plains, Mo, and David Ledbetter of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; and seven grandchildren.
