Walter's Chapel Cemetery is one of Lonoke County's oldest cemeteries. Earliest recorded grave is 1859.
There are well over 500 burials. There are about 20 in the Walter's Chapel Slave Cemetery
The Walter's Chapel Cemetery is located about a mile from the Prairie County line. It has been in Lonoke County since Lonoke County was formed. For years the Cemetery was listed on both Lonoke and Prairie Counties. Now, over 500 are gone.
