Lucille Brady Phillips, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas was born December 27, 1921 in Coal Hill, Arkansas a daughter of James and Bertha (Langston) Brady. She departed this life Monday, April 9, 2001 in her home at the age of 79.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ozark, Arkansas and the D.A.V. She was a veteran having served her country with the U.S. Army during World War II. She was a retired civil service personel manager.
On February 23, 1946 she was united in marriage with Harley Phillips who survives her. She is also survived by her son, David A. Phillips of Crossett, Arkansas; one brother, James Brady of Rolla, Missouri; four sisters, Rheba Thompson of Tuscalousa, Alabama, Wanda Ronan of Tuscalousa, Alabama, Alice Barker of Newport News, Virginia and Willene Holland of Visala, California; two grandchildren, Jessica Phillips of Crossett, Arkansas and Andrew Phillips of Crossett, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Helen Fane, Jewel Thomas and Betsy Penland.
