Audra Elaine (Smith) Evans, 40, died January 8, 2010. She was the daughter of Erma Dean Huntsman and Jim Smith. She was born March 24, 1969 in Searcy, AR. She was a loving Mother to her children Brooke Erin Evans and Aleigha Grace Smith. She was a lifetime member of Temple Baptist Church and leader of Team Kids for many years. Audra was employed by Baptist Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock, AR for twenty years as a registered mammographer.

Audra was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Edward Eugene Covington and J. R. Smith and her step-father James Slayton.

She is survived by her two daughters Brooke and Aleigha, father Jim Smith, mother Erma Huntsman, step-father, Jerry Huntsman, brother Jeremy L. Smith, sister, Amanda Jean Cullum, stepsisters, Jayme Slayton of North Carolina, Shelly (Steven) Beinifield, Shannon (Jason) Weaver of Searcy and Dayna Huntsman of Hot Springs, AR. , her grandmothers Estell Covington and Vivian Smith of Searcy. Her nieces Chelsea Smith, Jessie Smith, Haylee Cullum and a nephew, Aaron Cullum. Many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends also survive her.

Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the chapel of Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Interment will follow the service Foster's Chapel Cemetery.
