Vera A. Cox was born to James W. and Annie May Mc Crackin Ferguson on October 2, 1931 in Grenada, MS., and passed away on July 27, 2012 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mrs. Cox was a member of the Kensett Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School to the Elizabeth Class for more than ten years. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cox is preceded in death by her parents, two brother John and Sam Ferguson, two sisters Rosa Lee Tharpe and Evelyn Able.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years William N. Cox, a son James W. Cox, one granddaughter, two grandsons, one great-grandson, a sister Doris Arbuckle of Grenada, MS., nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations to Arkansas Hospice. The family would also like to thank Arkansas Hospice for the wonderful compassionate care.
Visitation will begin at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home on Monday July 30, 2012 at 9 am and Funeral Services will begin at 10 am with Bro Joe Clement officiating.
