William "Will" Fautheree, 93, of Rt. 2, El Dorado, died at 5 a.m. Monday in a local hospital following a short illness. He was a retired farmer, brickmason and carpenter. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Born at Winnfield, La., Oct. 28, 1874, he was the son of Steve and Nancy Hart Fautheree. He had lived in the Caledonia Community for the past 83 years. Survivors include four sons, A. C. Fautheree and Ruben Lee Fautheree, both of the home on Rt. 2, El Dorado, A. D. Fautheree of Baton Rouge, La., and R. W. Fautheree of Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. John H. Hollis of Monroe, La.; one brothers, E. L. Fautheree of Rt. 2, El Dorado; three sisters, Mrs. Rachel Thomas and Mrs. Lula Belle Lewis, both of Farmerville, La., and Mrs. Essie Horton of Dubach, La.; 22 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Rumph Mortuary Chapel with burial in the Caledonia Cemetery. (El Dorado Times - May 20, 1968)
