Bauerlein Family
The family of four died in a house fire on Friday, January 11, 2013. The father, Jeffrey, 49; mother, Carol 49; and two daughters, Callie 13 and Mollie 8.
Jeffrey Wayne Bauerlein was born on November 5, 1963. Carolyn Sue Phelps-Bauerlein was born on April 22, 1963. Callie Faye Bauerlein was born on March 7, 1999. Mollie Ann Bauerlein was born on March 29, 2004.
Jeffrey and Carol were married on July 2, 1994.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his brother, Jim and all of his grandparents. Carol was preceded by all of her grandparents and one uncle.
Jeffrey is survived by his mother Faye Conaway, father, Jeff Bauerlein, brothers Mike and Mark, as well as, a host of family and friends. Carol is survived by her parents; Jackie and Tommy Phelps; her sister Connie Hudson, her brother Billy Phelps as well as a host of family and friends.
Carol worked at Mountain View High School as a 9th grade English teacher and a 10th grade Oral Communication teacher. She had previously worked at Marshall, Bruno Pyatt, and Timbo school districts. During the summer, Carol worked as a tour guide at Blanchard Springs Caverns as well as several weekends throughout the school year.
Jeffrey worked with his dad and brother at a family business: EZ Trac Trailers in Mountain View, Arkansas. Callie was an 8th grader at Mountain View Middle School and Mollie was a 3rd grader at Mountain View Elementary School. The family attended Timbo Valley Assembly of God in Timbo, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 2:00PM, at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas.
*LITTLE ROCK, AR – A family of 4 in Stone County died in a house fire Friday morning.
Sheriff’s deputies and members of the Timbo Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a home on Bauerline Road. By the time the fire department arrived the house was destroyed, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victims in the fire are believed to be Jeffery Bauerlein, 49, Carolyn Bauerlein, 49, Callie Bauerlein, 13, and Molly Bauerlein, 8. The bodies are being sent to the State Medical Examiner for positive identification.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
