Katie Jean Childers, resident of the Sidon community, died July 9, 2008 at the age of 77.
Mrs. Childers was born July 22, 1930 in El Paso, the daughter of Russell and Mary Ada Stevens Thompson. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a Baptist.
Survivors include her brother, Jim Thompson of Searcy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Beuford Childers.
