SILOAM SPRINGS — Loyd Odell Curry, 72, of Siloam Springs died Dec. 6, 1999, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Wheeler to Ellis Walter and Ruth Emeline Forhman Curry. He was a longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas, a truck driver and a farmer.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Arjanta "Jan" Lee Clark Curry of the home, to whom he was married in 1956; one son, Doug Curry of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Connie Harrington of West Siloam Springs, Okla., Jeanne Curry of Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Priscilla McGarrah of Colcord, Okla., and Freda Farnsworth of Kansas City, Mo.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Robinson Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Will Gardner officiating.
Burial will be in Yell Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
