Margaret York, 72, of Mayflower passed away Wednesday February 22, 2012. She was born January 13, 1940 in Sumner, MS, to the late Alfred and Mattie Ruth (High) Valence. Margaret was also preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Hensley and C.J. York, a daughter, Teresa Hensley, brother, Fred Valence and one sister, Peble Hensley.

Margaret was a member of the Northside Apostolic Church in Mayflower. She was a prayer warrior, loving mother, and grandmother to so many. Margaret spent her life in service to God and others. Heaven now has another angel.

Margaret is survived by one son, Calvin Hensley of Quitman, a daughter Janet Branscum (Les) of Mayflower, a sister, Brenda Eloff (Gary) of Texas, two brothers, Larry Valence (Margaret) of Virginia, and Curtis Valence (Rosa) of Mexico, nine grandchildren, Doug Treat (Ashley), Candace Haley (Josh), Drew Hensley, Kayla Hensley, Drake Hensley, Sean Branscum (Amber), Adam Branscum, Jordon Branscum, and David Branscum, four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Treat, Brenā Treat, Jovie Smithson, and Lyla Branscum, and all of her children and grandchildren from the York family.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 26th at Northside Apostolic Church in Mayflower, with Bro. Keith Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Mayflower Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Branscum, Adam Branscum, Jordon Branscum, David Branscum, Drew Hensley, and Devin York. Drake Hensley will be serving as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway
