LEACHVILLE -- Virginia Maxine Hembrey, 76, of Leachville died Monday, July 15, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born in Beebe, she had lived in Leachville most of her life and was retired from the Brown Shoe Co.
Survivors include her husband, Golden Hembrey of Leachville; a brother, Vernon Cope of Grady; two granddaughters, Tammy Puckett and Shelby Sexton, both of Leachville; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Nichols, and a daughter.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Howard Funeral Service at Leachville, with the Rev. Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow in Leachville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
