BLOOMINGTON -- Richard Joe Knight, 70, of 1200 S. Barker St., Bloomington, died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 22, 2005) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
Richard was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Leachville, Ark., a son of Henry A. and Georgia A. Brock Knight. They preceded him in death.
Surviving are three sons, Richard Knight of Peoria; Gary (Donna) Knight of Bloomington; and Tony (Mindy) Knight of El Paso; one brother William (Vailima) Knight of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Richard was self-employed in home repairs for 34 years.
