Danny Gene Townsend and a passenger were killed in a one vehicle accident on Highway 341 near Lone Rock.

Danny Gene Townsend, 27, of Norfork died Thursday (Feb 9, 1995) in an automobile accident at Lone Rock.
Born Sep 18, 1967, at Malden, MO, he was the son of Euel Delbert Townsend and Bethel M. Henderson Townsend.
He was a heavy equipment operator with Everett's Sawmill.
He is survived by his father, of Campbell, MO; his mother of Midway; two brothers, Delbert Townsend of Theodosia, MO and Jerry Townsend of Bull Shoals; four sisters, Angela Parnell of Norfork, LaVonda Rea of Gassville, Vickie York and Lisa Perkins, both of Campbell; two grandmothers, Willie Henderson of Campbell and Allene Sells of Kennett, MO, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a half brother, Marty O'Dell; his grandfathers, Robert Sells and Corbie Henderson, and a nephew, Zachary Townsend.
Services will be at 2PM today at Galatia Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Lyndale Harberson officiating.
Pallbearers will be Delbert Ray Townsend, Jerry Don Townsend, Kenneth Ray King, Chad Parnell, Rex Rea and Wesley Grayham. Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Parnell, Kris Killian, Dennis Lawton and David Havner.
Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
